The Archangels are the foremost hierarchs in the angelic
kingdom. They are divine messengers at the service of man on earth
and work ceaselessly to promote spiritual harmony and banish negativity.
Their feminine counterparts are called archeiai. (Singular 'archeia', plural 'archeiai'.) Together they
focus the masculine and feminine polarities of the particular colour, (or
ray), of spiritual light on which they serve, although calling to one will always invoke the assistance of the others.
The Archangels are believed to have been our first teachers on our karmic path.
These supreme divine beings are powerful healers who work as surgeons to heal the soul and the four lower bodies -
the etheric,
the emotional, the mental and the physical. The assistance of the Archangels
can help us make much greater progress in our daily life and on the spiritual path.
The most popular Archangels serve on the seven rays of spiritual light that correspond to the light focused within the
seven major chakras. These light bands consist of vibrational energies. Below is a brief description of each.
Archangel Michael - First Ray
Purpose, positivity and leadership are the main qualities of the First Ray. This vibrational energy carries
strength and determination. It is the ray of the ruler. Captains of industry and those in politics function around
its energy.

Archangel Jophiel - Second Ray
Healers, teachers and philosophers respond to the magnetic elements of
The Second Ray. These energies assist and encourage those who seek truth and wisdom and those who seek an understanding
of the karmic journey.

Archangel Chamuel - Third Ray
This energy assists with both mental and physical activity. Organisational skills and clear creativity are its main
characteristics. Those involved in economics and industry respond to this ray's vibrational energies.

Archangel Gabriel - Fourth Ray
Musicians, artists, sculptors and all those whose lives consist of creative expression respond to the energies of the Fourth
Ray. This positive energy brings harmony out of chaos and unity out of diversity. It also brings achievement out of our
karmic challenges from which spiritual growth evolves.

Archangel Raphael - Fifth Ray
This is the ray for the intellect and enquiring mind. Those who pay great attention to detail and accuracy respond to
the energy of the Fifth Ray. Scientists are among those who draw inspiration from its qualities.

Archangel Uriel - Sixth Ray
Dedication, commitment and devotion to serving humanity are the main impulses of this vibrational.
It is the ray of the crusader and a great force within religion.

Archangel Zadkiel - Seventh Ray
The vibration from this light ray connects spirit and physical matter and works through law, ritual and organisation. Those under the impulse of the Seventh
Ray
delight in order and perfection.
As it is concerned with the concretising of energy, finance comes within its province, as well as all ceremonial
activity.
